The ACLS Refresher at Simulation Tirol is the ideal one-day recertification for all physicians and nurses whose Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificate is expiring after two years. The course takes place in Hall in Tirol near Innsbruck and awards 9 DFP/CME credits, perfect for meeting annual continuing education requirements in Austria, Germany, and South Tyrol.

Content covers the complete AHA and ERC guideline updates, algorithms for ventricular fibrillation, pulseless ventricular tachycardia, PEA, asystole, bradycardia, tachycardia, AV block, as well as acute coronary syndrome and stroke. The morning brings you up to date on theory, while the afternoon features intensive training on a high-fidelity simulator with a real defibrillator, CPR feedback device, and HD video debriefing. The course concludes with both a written and practical examination.

Those wishing to upgrade the refresher to a full emergency physician refresher under §40 can book the two-day upgrade for a small additional fee, fulfilling the §40 requirement while saving compared to the full ACLS course.

Hall in Tirol is conveniently reached via the A12 motorway (exit Hall West) or by train.
