The PALS Refresher from Simulation Tirol updates your Pediatric Advanced Life Support knowledge in a single day at our training center in Hall in Tirol, just minutes from Innsbruck. The course is designed for all physicians, emergency physicians, pediatricians, and nurses whose PALS certificate needs renewal after two years. It awards 9 DFP and CME credits and qualifies as premium continuing medical education.
Training covers the latest AHA and ERC pediatric guideline updates along with comprehensive pediatric emergency scenarios on a Gaumard pediatric simulator: drowning, choking/suffocation, severe pediatric trauma, septic and anaphylactic shock, pediatric defibrillation, age-appropriate emergency medications, tachyarrhythmias and bradyarrhythmias, and external pacing. Both practical and written final examinations are included.
Optionally, you can upgrade to the full two-day course for a small additional fee, which also qualifies as an emergency physician refresher under §40.
Hall in Tirol is just 10 minutes from Innsbruck central station or directly accessible via the A12 (exit Hall West). Free parking, catering, course materials, and certificate are included in the price. We can arrange hotel rooms at the Landgasthof Bogner for those traveling from Vienna, Linz, Salzburg, Munich, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, or Bolzano. Payment conveniently by invoice, fully tax-deductible as continuing medical education.
